![]() ![]() In 1872, he was named Police Commissioner of Balvanera, and put in charge of Section 14. In 1870, he entered public administration as a scribe for the General Accounts of the Office of Balances and Information, though only temporarily. ![]() ![]() There, he demanded free suffrage, division of rural property, reform of the judicial power, and other measures. He ended up obtaining his bachelor's degree in 1869Īfter obtaining his bacherlor's degree, Yrigoyen joined the National Autonomist Party. He also temporarily worked at a store and in a trolley. He suspended his studies at fifteen years old to help his father at a port. He had four siblings, which were: Roque, Martín, Amalia and Marcelina. ![]() He lived his youth in the Balvanera neighborhood and, at the age of nine, entered the San José School, later continuing his studies at the School of South America. He was born in the City of Buenos Aires, a few months after the Battle of Caseros.
